Ricky Lundell’s University of Grappling
University of Grappling is a mixed martial arts facility located in Lindon Utah. The head instructor is Ricky Lundell who is a 2x world champion submission Grappler.
We teach the most dominating and effective No-Gi Submission grappling program ever created which was developed by merging the minds and expertise of Ricky Lundell and Cael Sanderson (Olympic Gold Medal Wrestler). We also teach kids and adult Gracie/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, submission grappling, and self-defense courses. Come try us out at no charge!
Ricky Lundell (head instructor of University of Grappling in Utah) is an American Jiu-Jitsu player/Grappler, and Co-founder of UoG. The youngest American to earn a BJJ Black Belt, Ricky has worked with UFC/WEC fighters across North America including champions such as Frank Mir, Sean Sherk, BJ Penn, Miguel Torres, and Forrest Griffin.
Lundell wrestled and lettered at Iowa State University without any prior wrestling experience, shocking the grappling and wrestling world. A two-time National Grappling Champion (2007-08) and two-time World Team Trials Champion, Lundell went on to be the two-time back-to-back FILA World Champion (2007, 2008).
Lundell is also an accomplished scholar, entering Utah Valley University at 15 and graduating in Science at 18, An incredible saxophone player, high altitude Snow Boarder, and a wonderful husband and father.
